Auto-Cluster AI Time Entries by Area + Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Breakdown

I really like the AI-generated Time Entries in Rise Time Tracking. The automatic detection of what I worked on is extremely valuable because it lets me review my work retroactively without having to manually log everything.

What’s missing today is structure and longer-term visibility. Time Entries are mainly usable on a daily level, but I’d love to have them automatically categorized/clustered into higher-level areas of work, for example Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, People, or other custom categories.

Based on those categories, it would be very helpful to get a breakdown by week, month, and year so I can clearly see where my time is going over time, including trends.

Why this matters:

  • Better prioritization and time awareness for leadership

  • Faster reflection: “What did I actually spend my week/month on?”

  • Improved planning and focus on high-impact areas
