Link a manually created meeting to an existing calendar session

If for some reason auto-session doesn't start for a meeting on a calendar there appears ot be no way to go back and correct that. If i create a new meeting session it creates a new 'impromptu meeting' which is not what I want. I want to be able to create that session for the existing calendar invite.
