Manual data source selection and consistency for summary sidebar

I want to be able to manually choose what data is displayed in the summary sidebar (e.g., choosing between sessions or time entries) and have that selection remain consistent when I switch between day, week, and month views. Currently, it's unintuitive because the data source changes automatically when switching ranges.
