Hi Rize Team,
I'd love the ability to connect my AI assistant (Claude) to my Rize data through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration.
Conversational Data Access
Ask my AI assistant questions about my productivity patterns and get instant answers from my Rize data
"How many hours did I spend in deep work this week?"
"What's my average focus score when working on design tasks?"
"Show me my productivity trends over the last month"
Automated Analysis & Insights
Have my AI analyze focus patterns without manual CSV exports
Identify correlations between time of day, app usage, and focus quality
Detect productivity anomalies or changes in work patterns
Compare week-over-week performance across categories
Smart Category Management
Ask "Which sessions are miscategorized based on the apps used?"
Get AI suggestions for category refinement based on activity patterns
Validate that my 28-category system is being applied consistently
Integrated Workflow Automation
Pull session data into daily/weekly review workflows
Generate productivity summaries for client billing or personal tracking
Combine Rize metrics with other data sources (calendar, tasks, notes) for holistic analysis
Create custom reports without leaving my AI conversation
Context-Aware Coaching
Have my AI assistant reference my actual work patterns when giving productivity advice
"Based on my Rize data, when should I schedule deep work?"
Get personalized recommendations grounded in my real behavior, not generic tips
MCP is an open protocol (https://modelcontextprotocol.io/) that lets AI assistants securely access external data sources. Similar to how I can already connect Claude to Notion and Google Drive, I want the same seamless experience with Rize.
The value is having all my productivity data accessible in natural conversation without constant manual exports. You already have the API infrastructure—MCP would just expose it in a way that AI assistants can use.
I'll leave the technical implementation to you (you know your stack better than I do), but the end goal is: let my AI assistant read my Rize data so it can help me understand and improve my productivity patterns in real-time.
Thanks for considering this!
Chadwick
