Month-to-Date (MTD) Profitability Comparison

I want the profitability screen to compare the current month-to-date (MTD) performance against the same period in the previous month (PMTD), rather than comparing the partial current month to the full previous month. For example, if today is April 13th, it should compare April 1-13 against March 1-13. This would provide a more accurate picture of growth, as currently it might show a negative percentage even if revenue is significantly higher than it was at the same point last month.
